Here is the following information I have receive concerning your performance on Saturday:
"As you may know, this year's event is taking place on Saturday, December 7th at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center. The theme is "Let it Snow" ~ so lots of beautiful holiday songs bellowing from coat check at the end of the evening would be the perfect finishing touch to kicking off the guests' holiday season in style. Coat check would once again be set-up and organized prior to your arrival and will follow the same format and be in the same location as previous years. Also as in the past, students should arrive at 5:00 p.m. and plan to stay until the event has concluded (approximately 1:30 a.m.). We would again extend an invitation for you, any additional chaperones and the students to enjoy a volunteer dinner in shifts (once guests have all proceeded to the ballroom) around 8:30 p.m. in Media A. And, of course, I would recognize Lincoln High School Choirs as volunteers in our program.Upon arrival, please have the chaperones park in the main lot at the EMU Convocation Center. They, along with the students, can enter through the main entrance. Coat check is on the immediate left once they enter through the second set of lobby doors. Please have the students wear their formal performance attire. I recall that is the long, pretty dresses for the ladies and a formal suit for the gentlemen. The students always look sharp all dressed up. And, secondly, we will assign one of our staff members to brief Karen and the volunteers on the coat check set-up for this year. It stays pretty consistent from year to year. We expect about 850 guests in attendance and, so far, we're looking at a chilly forecast, so they will be busy gathering and retrieving coats."
Mrs. Nevins, Mrs. Guziel, and Mrs. Bamerick will be standing in my place. I will be there at approximately 11:30 pm after my performance in Ann Arbor.
